“As electric vehicles emerge as a solution for clean transportation, Rocky Mountain Power recognizes the importance of charging infrastructure to accelerate the adoption of sustainable transportation alternatives,” said James Cambell, Rocky Mountain Power innovation and sustainability policy director. “These public fast-charging stations will help EV drivers in the communities we serve connect to the economic benefits of clean transportation, while helping improve air quality for all Utahns. Located strategically, these charging stations will provide a convenient charging option for electric vehicle owners in our community and beyond.”
The project is part of the company’s Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program, which includes a $50 million investment in electric vehicle charging infrastructure across Utah.
