Rocky Mountain Power celebrated the opening of a hyper-fast public charging station at UTA’s Olympus Cove Park and Ride lot in Millcreek — one of 20 fast charging stations planned in Utah. This project was developed in partnership with Electrify America. Funding was made possible using Rocky Mountain Power’s EVIP funds.

Metra Purchases BEMU-Trains from Stadler in $154 Million Agreement

Chicago Metra’s new $154 million contract with Stadler U.S. for eight battery-powered trainsets includes engineering, training, and spare parts, with options for additional trainsets and trailer cars totaling up to $181.4 million. Supported by a federal CMAQ grant and state funding, these ADA-compliant trainsets will seat 112 passengers per two-car set and offer features such as open gangways, bike racks, luggage racks, and USB outlets, enhancing accessibility and convenience for riders.
